Clark need control that humans cannot imagine. But sometimes, I still wish he'd kill everyone and suffer for it, eternally.Inkednoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25257311.post-86909185737631990742008-07-16T01:37:00.000-04:002008-07-16T01:37:00.000-04:00Wow, very impressive and quite powerful. It is a little sad that after seven years of Smallville, I could see SV!Clark slipping this far out of control without a Chloe to anchor his humanity.RepairmanBobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03527308471350049886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25257311.post-1662136223951475372008-07-14T22:43:00.000-04:002008-07-14T22:43:00.000-04:00I read it a couple of days ago, but the feeling re...I read it a couple of days ago, but the feeling re-reading it is the same. "This is what Lex might have thought when he first heard about Numan"
So much power and little guidance can cause a lot of trouble (for the rest of us) it seems. It's a really frightening vision of what Superman could have been/done. Though in my mind, when Chloe died, it hadn't been long since Clark had donned the suit for the first time. That Clark's mentality can only be the one I see as capable of going to this extreme. A more mature Clark perhaps would have strived for more balance, perhaps?
Anxiously waiting for the end of your (well-deserved) hiatus, R.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25257311.post-13721956648576049762008-07-09T05:51:00.000-04:002008-07-09T05:51:00.000-04:00This is a really powerful piece of work, Elly. I was cheering him on when he stuck the criminals in the Phantom Zone and then before I knew it, the entire human race had been summarily executed. Creepy. What's even more creepy is that he was completely at peace with his decision! I think losing Chloe(?) to violent crime left him a li'l bit loopy-loo.

Great job, Elly. Looking forward to reading more from you after the hiatus!

Regards,
DeeDee.DeeDeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14277884826087371975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25257311.post-91280933937381905552008-07-09T03:42:00.000-04:002008-07-09T03:42:00.000-04:00Excellent illustration of the perils of a slippery...Excellent illustration of the perils of a slippery slope.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25257311.post-15047710370136162192008-07-07T17:52:00.000-04:002008-07-07T17:52:00.000-04:00wow that was so beutifully sad, what would happend...wow that was so beutifully sad, what would happend if superman would lost his only next to the human race...you just described. this was amazing :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25257311.post-15328565084512099882008-07-07T16:04:00.000-04:002008-07-07T16:04:00.000-04:00Wow.
