Lex didn't back away, only stood there staring at Clark with a look of almost painful longing in his eyes. Clark lowered his head slowly, giving Lex plenty of time to avoid his kiss, to dodge out of the way if he wanted to. Lex didn't, so he kissed him again, a little longer this time.
Their lips clung together for a long moment. Then he felt Lex melt against him, just a little. Lex's arms slid up around his neck, almost shyly, and Clark put his own arms around Lex's waist.
The kiss went on, getting a little warmer, a little more intense. Clark leaned into the kiss, remembering his earlier curiosity about what it would feel like to kiss Lex.
He had his answer.
It was amazing.
He wasn't exactly an experienced kisser, but he carefully and thoroughly explored the contours of Lex's mouth, and his own lips started to tingle in a big way. And then Lex's lips parted, and to Clark's shock, his tongue slid right into Lex's mouth.
He hadn't meant to do that. Really, he hadn't. Kissing Lex on the mouth was one thing, but kissing him with tongue-- well, that was a whole different thing. But the startling truth was, it was nice.
No... it was more than nice. It was incredible.
Lex tasted awesome, like the red wine he'd drunk with dinner, like the raspberry sauce in the confection he'd had for dessert, sweet and tart and intoxicating all at once. Clark's arms tightened around Lex, tugging him closer, and suddenly he realized he was hard again. Despite the way he'd come in the elevator, he was hard for Lex.
God, this was crazy. He'd never gotten this turned on by any girl, not even Lana.
And if he was being totally honest with himself here, that probably ought to tell him something about his sexual preferences.
He thought of all the times he'd found himself staring at Lex's mouth, or looking at the way his clothes clung to his slim, muscular body, all the times he'd found himself leaning just a little too close while the two of them played pool, and he admitted to himself that he hadn't been totally honest with himself about much of anything.
He'd been hot for Lex for a long time, maybe since the day he'd met him. He just hadn't wanted to admit it.
He kissed Lex more deeply than before, pressing his engorged cock up against Lex's abdomen. The pressure against his swollen flesh felt good, and a little whimper rose from him. He wanted... he wanted...
The truth was, he wasn't quite sure what he wanted. All he knew was he wanted more than another hand job. He wanted heat and closeness and sharing. He wanted to be part of Lex, to have Lex be part of him.
He wanted intimacy.
He was mildly surprised to discover Lex's hands had drifted up to his shoulders and were shoving his shirt off. It fell to the floor, but Lex left the purple tie dangling around his shoulders. Clark remembered his earlier thought that Lex was trying to mark him as his. He'd figured he was imagining things until Lex had grabbed him by the tie in the elevator.
It's mine. And I want you to wear it.
Lex captured both ends of the tie, pulling Clark closer than ever, and Clark moaned into his mouth. His hips were grinding against Lex's now, hard and fast, in a hungry, eager rhythm that was unmistakably sexual. He might have been lying to himself all this time, but his body hadn't been fooled. His body had always known what it wanted.
"Clark..." Lex pulled back, just a bit. He still had a tight grip on the tie, but he leaned back, an inch or so, and looked into Clark's eyes. "Are you absolutely sure this is what you want?"
Clark dragged his eyelids open and gazed into his best friend's eyes.
"Yeah," he answered softly. "I'm sure."

This is heating up really nicely. It's hard to believe you haven't been writing Clex all that long!
Another fab chapter, Elly. Can't wait for the next installment!
Regards,
DeeDee.
I should have known they wouldn't have been able to keep their hands off each other for long. I love how you can make their need for each other more than sexual, but not make it overly soppy at the same time.
Thanks for the new chapter,
Kat
